How I would dress on a typical day for school (university)

Fashion in a day of a student

A lot if people ask me what I would wear on a typical day in university, looking at peer pressure, stress and influence.

Well… Looking at what others are wearing or what’s trending is not something that a middle classed girl like me would look at. I typically dress according to style, Fashion and value, not trends. I am one person who literally recycles her clothes because the people that design them use effort, and time to do so therefore, a typical day in university wouldn’t give me goose bumps or stress me out.

Period…. Without paying much attention to what anyone would say.

Not that I don’t care but, I know that there are girls out there who look up to me for things like fashion, and me trying to look expensive when I’m actually not or trying to look at what others are putting on, would demoralize their confidence in me and they would think, they made a mistake by making me their role model .

All I’m trying to say is that, I would dress in a very simple way depending on what my wardrobe has for me. I would make the best out of the few clothings I possess and I would do my best to set an example for others out there.

And when it comes to my hair, I try to keep it as natural as possible because I embrace the 90’s style. For some reason I feel our great grands had the coolest style, effortless but valuable.

Not that today’s style is pathetic, but I am bored with today’s fashion, I’m loving what people used to wear and how they looked like in the 90’s

Sometimes dressing should be according to how you see yourself, not how you want the world to see you because, the world sees you according to how you see yourself… Hence, dress according to who you are.

Black shirt, designer: H&M, Dapp shop Lusaka Zambia.

There are different kinds of black, faded, washed, deep and brownish black. The black of the top is faded black which blends so well with the grey pants.

Belted sandals #branded. Grey pants, designer: H&M

I couldn’t think of any better shoe to add on the pants than these belted sandals, they look so effortless and transparent and seeing that Its summer season, wearing the sandals is okay compared to closed shoes that would accumulate a lot of sweat.

Lusaka July: polo in yellow fashion report

fashion

It is an annual event that blends the sport of polo with fashion.
Date: 11th July 2020
Venue: Lusaka Polo Club
Theme: Polo in Yellow Clinking glasses

This year’s Lusaka July as read in the theme, was all yellow, the language that everyone was speaking, walking and breathing.
some of the yellow went wrong and some right, and we are here to judge.

Let’s look at this yellow

Looking at his outfit, what kind of person do you think he is and what do you think he represents?
He dressed in a very simple way but outstanding. The only accessory he was putting on was the glasses which matched perfectly with his yellow jacket,
Not much at his feet but his black shoes which matched perfectly with his inner shirt.
I would think, he is a very classy man, because there is so much quality on him.

Not much to say about this yellow but, she looked like a total goddess.
The showing leg, in those red heels, matched with the chest burst, which connected with the cheeks, making her look sensible.
I would say, she knew what she was doing.

Macky 2 ( copala swag)

ceter: Macky 2, right: Yo maps, left: illest

The famous Zambian artist Macky 2 did what he knows best in dressing, the yellow and black was a total bomb 🔥

This other yellow

Her dress was amazing, England inspired. This was awesome. All covered with less skin to show. The dress ribbon matched with her hair connecting with the smile.

Mwaka mwangala

She is an actress seen in the Zambian telenovela zuba.
The sleeves are something to talk about, looking at her simple nature, the dress basically represents quality simplicity. Not much on her face matching with her legs.

Zambia’s mayor (Lusaka)

The whites: the shoes and the smart shirt matching in the right angle, perfect positioning.
Not forgetting the only accessory on him, the watch, speaking louder but less seen.
This is what we call fashion understood.
